Press Release Body = LOS ANGELES, September 5, 2006 - WCA Entertainment Corporation is very proud to announce its partnership with B.B. Kings, Stiv Deville Productions and MasterCard in presenting a music packed charity concert to be held at B.B. King's Universal CityWalk on September 10, 2006, from 12 noon to six in the evening. The six hour red carpet celebrity event hopes to raise awareness and funds for members of the LA Mentoring Coalition, a partnership of non-profits that provide and coordinate mentoring programs for children in Los Angeles Schools. Sponsors that are active participants in the event include MTV, MasterCard, Target and Calvin Klein.
Headlining the concert, and making his Los Angeles musical debut, will be R&B and Soul artist, top fashion model, and television personality Krishnar. Other featured guests include Soul Phenomenal, Trevor Lund, Vikki Lizzi with Jeff Conaway, Arden Kaywin, Julia Petiprin, Rachel Leigh, Amanda Mills, AR-15, ATR and Alyssa Serrano.
"With members such as The Boy's and Girl's Clubs, the YWCA, and Big Brothers and Big Sisters, the LA Mentoring Coalition provides the leadership and the tools that are necessary to integrate mentoring programs into the LA schools," said G. David Daniels, Chief Executive Officer of WCA Entertainment Corporation. "WCA, as an organization, is a mentoring company at heart, and I am proud to stand with our artist Krishnar, the rest of our amazing musical talent, my entire staff, and all of our partners in sponsoring and participating in such a great cause here in Los Angeles."
All ticket proceeds will benefit Mentor LA and partners of the LA Mentoring Coalition to help fund their efforts to bring quality mentoring programs into the Los Angeles school system. MasterCard in partnership with WCA will be dollar matching all ticket sales. The event is expected to be a huge draw, with many surprises for those in attendance, including MTV giveaways, and the arrival of a virtual 'Who's Who' of celebrities throughout the six hour concert. General admission tickets are $10 purchased in advance of the event, or $15 at the door. VIP tickets can be purchased in advance for $30, or $40 at the door. VIP seating is limited, so advanced purchase is recommended.
